PrintScreenImages

Problem… Some of us use the Print Screen button a lot. You hit the button, then paste it to a file. If you

want that image back for something else, you have to remember where you put it.

Annoying.

Solution… Every time your finger presses ‘Print Screen’, that image is saved as a file in a folder organized

by date for easy access. Plus you can add names and descriptions to enable you to search for them

later. Pressing Print Screen saves the full screen. Alt+PrintScreen saves only the active window on

your monitor screen. And, you can hold your mouse over the file and see the image without having to

open it. Very cool. Right?

What PrintScreenImages Does

People press the PrintScreen button to capture something important, then they sometimes forget where the image was pasted to.

A few days later they know they saved it, but they can't remember what they called it or where they put it.

PrintScreenImages solves that problem. Every time you press the PrintScreen button on your keyboard, the image is automatically saved as a file and organized by date.

Capturing Images

Press the PrintScreen button to save the entire screen.
Press Alt + PrintScreen to save only the active window.
Images are automatically saved as .png files.
Each file receives a date and time stamp so every image has a unique name.

Runs In Background

When you minimize the program, it continues to run.

It keeps watching for PrintScreen key presses and saves those images.

To bring the app window back, simply click the PSI icon in the system tray near the clock.

Organization

PrintScreenImages automatically organizes images into:

Year → Month → Day folders

That makes older images easy to locate.

Instant Preview

Open the Images Folder and move your mouse over any image file.

A preview appears immediately without opening the image.

Use the mouse wheel to make the preview larger or smaller.

Give Important Images a Name

While instantly viewing an image, you can add a name at the bottom of the view window.

Example:
You add Invoice ABC Steel to a file originally named 260429 184522.png.
This keeps the original date and time while making the file easier to identify later.

Entering File Descriptions

Entering words in the description box at the bottom of the image view screen will also help you find files later.

The more words you enter describing the file, the easier it is to find later.

Search

To locate files, you can use Search Images. Enter unique words found in the file name and description… Boom, there it is.

Quick Access

Open your most recent PrtScr Image with the Open Last Print Screen button.
Browse all saved images with the Open Images Folder button.
Easily turn the program off when you no longer want image copies auto saved.

Bottom Line… This app has your back. It auto captures a copy, so you can find it later.
