Old School Shredder
Problem… When you delete a file… it’s not really gone. It could still be recovered. Sometimes easily. You want it permanently gone.
Solution… Bring up the app. Choose the file. Press Shred. The app overwrites the file up to ten times if you want. Then permanently removes it. Kaboom!... It’s gone.

But think for a moment about the files on your computer.

When you want to permanently delete a file, simply use the app’s Browse feature (like Windows Explorer) to help you find it.
If you can’t easily find it, use the app’s Search feature. Search by part of the file name, the beginning of the name, the file type, or even use wildcards if you wish. Simple.
Main screen: browse for a file, search for a file, choose overwrite passes, then shred.
Browse method: use the familiar Windows file picker when you already know where the file is.
Search method: find a file by part of the file name when you do not remember exactly where it lives.
